So, what do you do with over ripe bananas? You could throw them away, but you might be struck by lightning for being wasteful. You could use them to beat up your husband/boyfriend, but they are too soft to make real damage. Or you could instead use them to make a loaf of warm and delicious banana bread on a cool autumn day.
Here are the steps how to make banana bread. First, you'll need three good-sized mixing bowls.
Bowl #1: 3 ripe bananas, one tablespoon of milk and one teaspoon of ground cinnomon. Mash bananas with a fork and add milk and cinnomon. Mix well.
Bowl #2: one stick of unsalted butter (room temperature) and one cup of sugar. Mix the two with a mixer.
Bowl#2: add two eggs, mix well.
Bowl #2: What it looks like when the butter, sugar and eggs are mixed.
Bowl #3: 2 cups of flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, one teaspoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of salt. Mix them well with a fork or a whisk.
Mix bowl #1 and bowl #2 together

Dump bowl #3 into the wet mixture and mix them well.
Add one cup of walnuts into the mixture. Go ahead and skip walnuts if you dislike them.
Oil inside the loaf pan very well.
Dump the mixture into the pan.
Preheat oven to 330 F, or 165 C. Place the loaf pan on a baking sheet, and put the baking sheet in the middle rack of the oven. Bake for an hour or 70 minutes.
Take the pan out of the oven when a toothpick or a knife inserted in the middle of the bread comes out clean. Put the pan on top of wire rack; let it cool for 15 minutes. Dump the banana bread out of the pan and let it cool off a little bit before serving.
Now you know you don't need to go bananas when you have over ripe bananas!
